Dissonance

In my collection Unheard frequencies I explore the growing apathy and personal disconnection that many of us experience as a response to the all-consuming media and society, that demands so much from us all the time. A large-scale expressive nude (100 x 150 cm), this impactful painting can immediately set the mood in a room.

The calm but slightly heavy expression on the woman's face, gives the artwork a reflective feeling. The intense, deep black background and around her, the words “Noise. Noise. Too much noise.” repeat in red, cutting through the darkness.
